etalKeen manufactures custom PTFE seals for demanding industrial applications requiring excellent chemical resistance, low friction, high-temperature performance, and long service life.
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is widely used as a sealing material because it offers one of the lowest coefficients of friction among engineering polymers, exceptional resistance to chemicals, and reliable operation across a broad temperature range. PTFE seals are commonly selected for applications where conventional rubber seals cannot meet performance requirements.
Using precision CNC machining, MetalKeen produces PTFE sealing components according to customer drawings or samples. Available configurations include sealing rings, piston seals, rod seals, rotary shaft seals, guide rings, backup rings, and other custom-engineered sealing parts. Filled PTFE grades with glass fiber, carbon, bronze, or graphite are also available to improve wear resistance and load capacity.
Our PTFE sealing solutions are widely used in paper machinery, hydraulic equipment, pumps, valves, compressors, chemical processing systems, food processing equipment, and other industrial machinery.
A PTFE seal is a precision sealing component manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) to prevent fluid or gas leakage while minimizing friction between moving parts. PTFE seals are valued for their outstanding chemical resistance, wide operating temperature range, and low friction, making them ideal for demanding industrial environments where elastomer seals may fail.
Our PTFE seals are widely used in:
Paper Machines
Hydraulic Cylinders
Pumps
Valves
Compressors
Gearboxes
Chemical Processing Equipment
Food Processing Machinery
Pharmaceutical Equipment
Marine Equipment
Industrial Automation Systems
