We are pleased to announce the successful delivery of custom SS316 stainless steel casting bearing housings to our customer in Indonesia.
The project presented several significant challenges: the customer required three different types of bearing housings, but only two pieces per type, along with a limited budget and a tight delivery schedule. Such small-batch, customized production with cost and time constraints is often difficult for traditional casting manufacturers to fulfill.
To meet these demands, we innovatively adopted the lost foam casting technology to replace conventional sand casting. This advanced approach resulted in remarkable efficiencies:
Mold manufacturing time was reduced from 40 days to just 20 days.
Mold cost was lowered by approximately 80%.
Overall lead time was shortened from the original 4 months to only 2 months.
Our customer expressed great satisfaction with both our performance and the final product offering.
