Four Concerns in Structure Design To Relieve Deformation
1. In the design of welded components, such as size, weight allowable conditions, appropriate to improve the stiffness of the components, reduce the amount of deformation caused by welding.
2. Reasonable choice of weld size: In order to ensure the welding quality and meet the structural load-bearing capacity of the premise, try to reduce the size of the weld, such as:
V-type breach into U-type breach;
long weld into an intermittent weld;
to ensure that the weld penetration of the case, try to reduce the weld gap.
3.Reasonable choice of the number of welded seams: for the self-weight does not require welding components, appropriate selection of thicker materials, can reduce the number of fascia, thus reducing the number of welded seams; for thin plate welding structure, can be used to press out can be strengthened instead of fascia structure, which reduces the number of welded seams.
4.Reasonable design of weld location:
weld designed to be symmetrical to the central axis of the welded component cross-section or make the seam close to the central axis, so that the welding stress symmetry offset each other, greatly reducing the welding deformation (especially bending deformation);
do not weld very dense;
as far as possible, to avoid cross-welded seams.
